Nestled on 2.43 acres along the shores of beautiful Eagle Lake in the Haliburton area, this property offers 95 feet of pristine sand beach with crystal clear water, no weeds or rocks, and a gentle, gradual entry that is perfect for swimmers of all ages.
Inside, you will find plenty of room for everyone. With three full bathrooms, a comfortable living room, a large kitchen and dining area, and a bright, relaxing sunroom, The Nest is made for easy gatherings and memorable meals.
Step outside onto the two level deck, where three different dining and lounging areas give you the perfect spot for morning coffee, sunset dinners, or quiet reading. The lakefront lawn is ideal for badminton, volleyball, football, or simply enjoying the sun. The private beach is perfect for relaxing, bonfires, and building sand castles.
Right at the water’s edge, a cozy sitting deck invites you to enjoy meals with a view, and a dock for jumping into the deeper water. For guests who love to be on the water, we provide kayaks, paddleboards, a canoe, and life jackets so you have everything you need for a perfect day on Eagle Lake.
The Nest is also a true four season retreat, making it perfect for cozy winter getaways. Guests can enjoy being only a 5 minute drive, or 3 kilometers, from Sir Sam’s Ski Resort, a local favourite for skiing, snowboarding, and winter fun. The area also offers easy access to nearby ATV and snowmobile trails, giving you plenty of ways to explore the snowy landscapes. After a day of adventure, you can unwind in the indoor sauna located in the basement, or relax in the cozy indoor living areas with family and friends.

The bliss of a summer vacation is unmatched for most, but if you aren’t a fan of the heat, The Nest is available year-round to rent for off season vacations. Beautiful autumn colours surround the property in the fall. Fun in the snow, skiing and snowboarding on the nearby slopes, and warming up in the sauna for the winter months. The spring is perfect for peaceful relaxation and watching the world come alive again as you escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

We use this cottage for our own family every summer too. This isn’t just an investment from a foreign investor looking to make easy money. We take good care of the property and cottage because we love it there too.
