What are the fees?
HST: Harmonized Sales Tax is a consumption tax paid by local consumers and businesses and is required by the Province of Ontario.
MAT: Municipal Accommodation Tax is required by the township to any Short-Term Rental accommodation with guests staying for less than 28 consecutive days.
The standard cleaning fee is rolled into the accomodation amount.
The booking deposit is subtracted from your total amount owing when the remainder of the booking is paid in full. For summer bookings the total amount must be paid no later than 60 days before the reserved dates.
